Home / Chain link fence
Chain link fence installation.
The most fence per dollar. Galvanized for utility, black vinyl-coated when it needs to disappear into the tree line.
Styles we build
What a chain link fence can look like.
Galvanized
Standard silver mesh. Lowest cost per foot, decades of service.
Black vinyl-coated
Coated mesh and framework. Visually recedes and resists corrosion better.
Dumpster and equipment enclosures
Commercial framework with privacy slats or coated mesh screening.
Privacy slats
Vertical slats woven through the mesh for screening without building solid.
Tennis and ball field
Ten to twelve foot heights with heavier framework and top rail.
Chain link gets dismissed as the cheap option, but for a large yard, a storage lot, or a ball field it is the only material that makes financial sense. Black vinyl-coated mesh also looks far better than people expect — against woods it visually vanishes in a way galvanized never does.

Straight talk
Where chain link jobs go wrong
Corner and gate posts do all the work. If they are undersized or shallow, the whole run loosens up, and no amount of retensioning fixes it.
Nine gauge mesh is meaningfully heavier than eleven gauge. For dog runs, commercial yards, and anywhere the fence gets leaned on, the upgrade is worth it.
Privacy slats add wind load. A fence that was fine bare can start to lean once it is slatted, so the framework has to be specified for it from the start.
Common questions
Chain link fence questions we get.
How long does chain link last?
Galvanized fabric commonly runs 20 years or more. Vinyl-coated tends to last longer in humid and coastal air because the coating shields the steel.
Can I add privacy later?
Yes, slats can be woven in after the fact, but tell us up front so the posts and framework are sized for the extra wind load.
Is black chain link much more?
It is a modest premium over galvanized and it changes how the fence reads on the property, especially against woods. Most residential customers who see both choose black.
Do you do dumpster enclosures?
Yes, that is regular commercial work for us — coated framework, screening, and drive gates with cane bolts.
