Is composite the same as vinyl?
No. Vinyl is hollow PVC; composite and molded panels are denser, with real wood or stone texture and a more solid feel. Both are low-maintenance; composite reads more like the real thing.
Will it fade?
Catalyst panels are engineered to resist fading and hold their color. All outdoor materials weather slightly over many years — ask us for Catalyst’s warranty document for exactly what is and isn’t covered.
Does it really never need painting?
Correct — no stain, no paint, no sealing. Occasional rinsing with a hose is the whole maintenance routine.
